UAEU is participating in Expo 2020 through its pavilion that aims to offer visitors a unique experience in envisioning the future of education and part of Expo 2020’s vision is to empower and inspire youth to become the innovators and leaders of tomorrow by playing an important role in creating a better future for the UAE and the region.

UAEU Expo 2020 is seeking Expo 2020 College Champions to be part of the team and to help spread awareness and generate excitement in the build-up to and during this monumental event. Each college will have one male and one female representative. It will provide a great opportunity for university students to communicate their ideas about what they hope to experience at Expo 2020.

As an Expo 2020 UAEU College Champion, Students will:

• Take initiative and independently spread awareness of the UAEU Pavilion and Expo 2020 among students, staff and faculty of the university.
• Be an active member of the UAEU-Expo 2020 club to help support on the different initiatives.
• Actively engage the wider community to promote Expo 2020 and UAEU pavilion and create excitement for the national event. 
• Work with the university champions to proactively identify, plan, organise, and lead on activities to promote the UAEU Pavilion and Expo 2020 in the university.
• Participate in selected activities and workshops planned by UAEU Expo 2020 team.
• Become part of the UAEU Expo 2020 pavilion team and support in planning and executing initiatives to support UAEU pavilion before and during Expo 2020.
• Serve as a role model for students in the UAE by setting an example of positive and responsible volunteering within the university community.
