UAEU Community Gets Inspired During Expo 2020 Site Visit
Some 70 students, staff and professors attended a site visit of the UAEU Pavilion
at Expo 2020 in Dubai to feel inspired when design an engaging and immersive visitor
experience that reflects UAEU’s ambitious plans for its Pavilion during Expo 2020.
During the visit they also attended detailed sessions on the Expo 2020 Dubai vision,
thematic pavilions and world-class visitor experience being planned for the largest
event ever to be held in the Arab World.
The UAEU Pavilion will be centered around UAEU’s ‘University of the Future’ initiative
to redefine tertiary education, focusing on creating a knowledge economy workforce
and revolutionizing the provision of university education in the Arab World by 2030.
Through the strategic initiative, announced in 2018, UAEU aims to secure a place

UAEU will also host the Pathfinders Program during Expo 2020 which will be offered
to 30 students that will be selected from different Arab and African universities.
These students will test the new curriculum for the University of the Future during
the 6 months of Expo 2020 and will leverage the ecosystem created by Expo 2020.
For six months from 20 October 2020 until 10 April 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai will welcome
more than 200 participants, including educational establishments, businesses, multilateral
organisations and 192 countries – to the World’s Greatest Show of human brilliance
